ALZOO Natural Plant Based Flea & Tick Spot-On for Dogs, 0.1-oz tube

I'm really trying to find a natural flea and tick protection for my fur babies because one of my cats died many years ago from a harsh chemical flea treatment. Unfortunately this stuff is not the answer! It provided no relief to my dog and she continued to scratch even worse than before! This product failed to deliver on its promise of killing fleas and ticks. This product is not work in unfortunately I cannot recommend a similar alternative. I am still searching for an effective natural flea and tick protection!

We don’t have a ton of flea or tick problems when our dog is just in our back yard, but we used this product on him before we took him to an outdoor boarding kennel for two weeks with numerous other dogs. He came back well exercised and flea free! We love that this product uses natural ingredients and is not harmful to either our dog or the furniture and flooring he lays on. The capsule was easy enough to apply in a line down his back with one person holding his head and the other parting hair. (Our pup’s a squirmer!) He’s a pure bred German Shepherd so he should technically have had the dosage on the package of 1.5 tubes, but since we knew he wasn’t going to be in a highly infected area, we just used the one tube. We like that we have two more does for any other trips or camping we might do this summer. For our needs, one package will most likely last the whole flea and tick season. But if we did live in a higher pest zone, we’d have no problem using this product more regularly since it’s made with safe ingredients at an affordable price compared to other prevention products.

I was excited to try this product as I’m always looking for natural products for my dog! We put this on our dog a couple weeks ago and unfortunately found a flea today. Upon looking at the box closer, it does recommend using additional products if going to areas that have higher infestation which we do. Additionally, the dosage isn’t immediately clear from looking at the product website. There were 3 tubes in my box but depending on the size of your dog you may need to use two of them which results in having an extra tube if you have a bigger dog. I wish the labeling was more clear about using more products in high infestation areas as well as providing different tube sizes rather than having to use multiples tubes on your dog.
