We were a little hesitant about trying a pate-style dog food becuase of the consistency, but you can actually see the vegetables in these, which gives them a heartier look. They smell reasonably decent, too. The box contained two flavor options and the cans are the easy-open style, no can opener required! We tried the beef variation first - The smell had our dog drooling before we even had it portioned into her bowl. She was a little less excited about the chicken, which is usually her favorite, but she definitely enjoyed it. She has a sensitive stomach, so we only gave her half a can at a time, in addition to her regular food. she did not have any digestive troubles with eiyher flavor. It's a win-win!

I have been using this as a mix in with my dogs kibble and they are loving it. My beagle takes medication that I hide in the wet food and he gobbles it up no issues

I have been using this as a mix in with my dogs kibble and they are loving it. My beagle takes medication that I hide in the wet food and he gobbles it up no issues. My lab has a habit of hiding his food for later (which just means the beagle will eat it) and he is actually eating it all now. It has been working very well for us, they both seem to enjoy the chicken or the beef. They do a little happy paw tippy tap while waiting for me to prepare it.

My dog loves this food, but it’s way more hassle than I’m willing to put up with. It sticks to everything. It sticks to the inside of the can, it sticks to the spoon, it’s impossible to clean off. It clearly tastes good because even my cats run to eat it, but it’s too hard to serve when you can’t get it out of the can or off the spoon.

This was the perfect addition to go along with the dry Rachel Ray food my dog eats. We have been trying half dry and half wet food to help her with hydration and she’s ready to gobble it up before it hits the floor! I only took off one star because the texture of the wet food is like blended up mush rather than the hearty, chunky texture we usually get with Rachel Ray pet foods so I was a little disappointed. Otherwise, my sweet doggo loves it!

I tried this food with all of my dogs and they cleaned the plate each time. Their poops are normal and did not give them diarrhea. 1 can feeds 7 small dogs. I also mix with dry food. The ingredients are clean and wholesome. The paté is good for them and I don’t have to worry about them choking on large chunks. I have a Pomchi, Jack Russell, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Italian Greyhuahua, and 2 mini dachshunds.
