Intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only, and should be fed as a treat.
American Journey is a Chewy exclusive brand; it’s currently available on Chewy.com. American Journey Soft and Chewy Cat Treats are manufactured in Georgia following strict quality standards and FDA regulations.
The treats are approximately 0.5” long, which is similar in size to a small, peanut.
These treats are soft and chewy similar to a pliable jerky stick.
American Journey Soft and Chewy Cat Treats are sourced from reputable suppliers in the USA and worldwide, dependent on availability.
These soft and chewy treats are suitable for all life stages. They are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only and should be fed as a treat.
There are approximately 100- 120 treats in each bag.
Does that sound appetizing? My cats didn't think so either. None of them would touch it in fact one tried to bury it. It had a preservative packet in it , the kind that says do not feed?
Cats (I have 6 - 3 inside & 3 outside), none of them will touch these. They are really hard, cats didn't even take a second look they sniffed once and walked away in disappointment (and like a dope I bought 3 bags of them) since I had great luck in the past with American Journey wet cat food (they would eat it and keep it down "duck" flavor)... I thought the treats would be a sure bet, I was wrong. So, Opossum will be getting treats with his canned cat food for the next month or so). My Mom's shih tzu ended up eating the treats after a bit so ... there's that...
This is a wonderful product but it's expensive. There was a banner at the top of the page that stated "Buy 3 Get 4th Free" but unfortunately, it did not include these treats. I would like the bags to be bigger or the product to be less expensive because my cat LOVES them.
My cats who love there treats were not interested in the least in these soft treats. They turned there nose up and walked away, guess theirs no switching from there favorite Greenies and Temptation treats. Could not even give them to the outdoor cats,. Sorry to say ended up throwing them away!!!
After trying these, my cat now turns her nose up at previously beloved treats like Greenies. These are the only chewy/crunchy treats she wants. She absolutely loves them.
All 5 of my cats rejected these treats at first but eventually ate them if I left them out long enough. Most likely won't purchase again.
yes, my furby is prefering treets over his normal food
Our Maine Coon’s system has proved to be allergic to chicken, seafood and beef so his vet switched him to duck (RC dry and wet). Treats preferred by vet were RC hydrolyzed which cannot get so we tried the “purest” duck. First try was freeze dried which worked but they crumble, are loaded with dust from crumbling so tried these. They are a hit, minimal ingredients, he loves them! And his “output” system does not react. Will keep ordering!
My picky cats said no. They wouldn't eat them. I should give up. Treats are hard when they want even lick them.
My cat really loves these and always asks for them by putting his paws on the treat jar.
