Will this be good with separation anxiety in my chihuahua?

This calming coat provides anxiety relief from thunderstorms, traveling, crating, fireworks, loud noises, hyperactivity, vet visits, and separation.

We live in a hot climate zone. Is it harmful for dog to wear in 90 degree weather?

While this coat is made of cotton, it will retain some body heat so it would be very important to monitor your pet and ensure they do not overheat.

How do i put the coat on my dog

Place the Calming Coat on your dog's back. Fit the Long Chest Wrap around the front of your dog and secure to velcro on Short Chest Wrap. Be sure not to secure too tightly, to prevent limiting your dog's movement. Then wrap the Long Body Wrap under the torso of your dog through the Body Slit. Continue the Long Body Wrap around the back of your dog. Wrap Short Body Wrap under the torso of your dog and secure to velcro straps on opposite side of Long Body Wrap. Adjust as needed for proper snug fit.

How do you know for sure what size to get???

The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. While weight is listed, the pets chest girth measurement is most accurate to use for size. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs. If the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

Would not recommend. Directions were not completely clear and no visual to show. Was not like the vest I have for other smaller dog. Very disappointed especially

Sizing is off...

Per weight, I got the x-small for my 13 pound poodle mix, but it barely closes. This is no different than a t-shirt, so it did little to help with anxiety. It

Such a calming color and feel

Wow. This jacket is made of soft cotton fabric. It is snug around Sassy and gives her the feeling of being held so she is safe. She doesn’t ride well in the car
