would this bed be perfect for a girl german shepherd

We recommend measuring your pet to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in his or her normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size.

Is this product machine washable?

This pet bed is not machine washable. It should be spot cleaned only.

... yes I see the dimensions... but it really would be helpful to know if those are outside dimensions or inside...?

That the bed was orthopedic with bolster

Cookie absolutely loves it! We bought if for her because she can no longer jump up on the furniture. She has old age vestibular disease which is a medical term

Cookie absolutely loves it! We bought if for her because she can no longer jump up on the furniture. She has old age vestibular disease which is a medical term for doggy dementia; a type that makes her seem like she is on a twirling amusement park ride 24/7. Her bedtime and naps are now more comfortable. Thank you for having this product.

Very soft, but maybe not the best for young cats with claws.

I bought this for my two cats. They love it - very soft. The only problem is that their nails scrape on the insides and it gets everywhere.

I'll know more if it ever stops shedding. The sides don't hold together as tightly as I would expect. I'm kind of surprised it isn't a little better quality as I've had an AKC bed a whils back and it was better put together. Maybe because of where this one was made. It's just ok.

This is a cute bed and it seems well put together. It’s a good size for my, shall we say, rather substantial pussycat. As another reviewer mentioned, the bottom,

This is a cute bed and it seems well put together. It’s a good size for my, shall we say, rather substantial pussycat. As another reviewer mentioned, the bottom, although it IS ortho egg crate foam, is kinda thin. The sides however, are puffy and nice and the Sherpa-like fabric is soft and cozy. I gave it 3 stars (I wish there were a 3.5 option!) because although it’s been here for 2 weeks now, His Royal Highness has not seen fit to insert even one of his furry little toes, much less his adorable rear end into it’s plush interior. I am utterly dejected and he is oblivious. I guess I’d recommend this to a lighter weight cat or dog (Clancy is 15lbs, more or less) who actually uses this sort of thing.
