How is this vegan if it says it's bacon flavor? What is the bacon flavor made from?

The bacon and cheese flavor are derived from vegetarian based ingredients, meaning no animal derived ingredients to limit any allergic reactions.

Can cats use this as well ?

This supplement is not formulated for cats. This supplement is made for dogs of all breeds and life stages.

Where is the expiration date on this? I just got the ones I ordered and only could find dates on the bottom that says Lot and MFG

The manufacturer will stamp a DOM (Date of Manufacturing) on the bottom of the bottle. Recently they have begun stamping a Date of Expiration on the bottle which is guaranteed at an 18-month shelf life from the DOM (without refrigeration). If refrigerating the probiotic, a Date of Expiration will be a 2-year refrigerated shelf life.

Does this have grains? It doesn’t say grain free and it’s not listed, but I need a answer.

My absolute favorite probiotic for my baby girl.

Well, Adelaide has several issues as a 14 year old indoor calico. She now requires two pills. One tiny coated pill for hyperthyroidism and recently a small capsule for seizure control. I know! Both pills twice a day! She favors dry prescription foods for kidney health, ugh, (not the healthiest of the litter I guess), but will eat a small amount of canned early stage kidney Pate twice a day if I serve it to her on my bed! I KNOW! She needs miralax mixed into that to help her poop, which she doesn’t mind, and half a Cosequin capsule for arthritis. Jeez!?! And she doesn’t pay me for all of this with anything other than purrs and snuggles and adorableness. I am grateful she lets me give her pills by hand, so then comes the issue of adding a good probiotic to all of this. I bought another brand here at Chewy when this one was out of stock and the dose was half a capsule. So again, more freakin’ powder to mix in with the canned food. Well, when I first researched probiotics for cats I had a list of the ones I wanted and this brand here fit the bill completely. This was even years ago when I began giving her brother, since passed, probiotics during his ordeal with kidney disease. The shape of these tablets is called a “pearl” and it is a small white chewable ball, literally, and Adelaide will take it out of her treat bowl, in her mouth and chew. You can hear it break as she chews. It is not a soft mushy type but not too hard for an older cat like her. She loves the taste. If she happens to be in a mood and doesn’t lap her pearl right up, I just open her mouth, tilt her head back a bit and literally drop in back towards her throat. On those occasions I follow up with a couple of Greenies or hairball crunchy treats to make sure it goes down properly. Does my life revolve around my cat? You bet. And she deserves the best products and this probiotic for pets is at the top of my list. And I HATE when it is ‘out of stock’!! MEOW!

My cat loves it

My cat tends to have problems with constipation. He's been to the vet 3 times for enemas. Since starting the probiotic/prebiotic, my cat seems to be able to pass

My cat tends to have problems with constipation. He's been to the vet 3 times for enemas. Since starting the probiotic/prebiotic, my cat seems to be able to pass stools easier and more often. Hes been on medication from the vet, but adding the probiotic has helped. He doesn't mind getting the vets pill because he knows he gets the probiotic next. He loves the flavor too! Thank you for saving my sanity.
