    Wonderful food

    By on

I have 2 long haired purebred chis. I have been always a stickler for quality natural food. It was difficult in the past to find something healthy. Tried a lot different brands. One wouldn’t even try it and the other scarf it down that I didn’t know if he tasted it... As the dog food industry improved and became better I still searched for the best food for them. I finally found this brand and my boys LOVE it. I get this 2 flavor pack bc lamb is gentle on the tummy and beef for the change of taste. One thing to note the texture. Is in tiny squares with gravy but they won’t eat it unless I mash it up with a fork... What kinda mom would I be if I didn’t do that for them...

My picky Husky loves this food

    By on

I am obsessed with this dog food, and this brand. I think dogs will respond differently to different flavors or even at different feedings, so I focus more on the brand. I get dog recall alerts and do extensive research on brands, as well as I am a MS RD in-training (who in her spare time researches dog GI and nutritional needs). This brand fits the bill because: 1. It has never been recalled, even once 2. It has higher quality protein than carbs (dogs should not eat as many carbs as us- their metabolism and therefore needs are different) 3. I used to work as a brand ambassador at Whole Foods Market, and they were one of my clients. There product is made and manufactured really well. Yes I am obsessed with this dog food, and this brand. Yes, it is expensive, but I want my dogs to feel and age well. They eat as good as I do. If you can't afford this product, then I suggest mixing it with a dry food to bulk it up. I mix it with this brands dry, grain free food so that I use only 1 can/feeding for my 2 large breed dogs … more
