After a few days in the vet’s office after a surgery complication my pup wasn’t interested in his dry kibble any more. I started using a wet food topper and still had no luck, but once this was mixed in he finally started to enjoy his food again! It has a thick consistency so it’s great for mixing. I’ll definitely be purchasing more, we’ve gone through a whole bottle.

I tried to introduce this by putting a little on a small amount of kibble in her bowl with her regular kibble. She wouldn’t eat anything in her bowl as long as it was there. I tried using it with treats numerous times and she would turn away and not return. I’ve never seen her turn down some this this way.

I was hoping that Zeus was going to like this topping for his food. I already mix bone broth with his food, so I thought he would like this. I was so wrong. I placed this topping on his morning food and his food sat until dinner untouched. I placed new food without the topping and he ate his food. I tried again the following day, but not with so much food and placed some of the topping on top of it, and again Zeus did not touch it. So it has to be the topping he doesn't like unfortunately. I am sure other people's fur babies will like this, but mine does not.

My dog got sick after i used this. I thought maybe it was to rich for him. My daughter took it for her dog and after eating his one eye became dialated and he became lethargic and stumbling. He was fine a couple hours later. Not sure whats going on but neither of us feel safe for our dogs to consume any more of it. Can’t say it for sure that the food was this issue,l. May have just been bad timing. I bought 2 bottles and just threw the other in trash
