Andis Easy Clip Dog, Cat & Small Pet Corded Clipper, Blue

Doesn't hold a charge. Had it plugged in over night and no power unless it's always plugged in. So while grooming my dog it needs to be plugged in to use it. For a new clipper it wasn't too sharp. Seemed dull going through my dogs fur. I've used other clippers and really disappointed in this clipper.

It is pretty powerful and cuts through thick fur easily, so it’s great for dogs,cats and even smaller pets with tougher coats. One of the best parts? The only downside is that it can heat up after awhile. Overall it’s reliable, affordable and gets the job done.

My puppy Penny did great with her first hair cut. I first introduced her to clippers by turning it on and leaving it on the floor while I distracted her. I then turned it off and moved the clipper against her fur to acquaint her with the sensation. Finally, I turned the clipper on while continuing the same motion. She did not seem to mind it by that point. The clipper itself is very smooth, gentle, and relatively quiet. It comes with oil for the blades to lubrication prior to each use. There are multiple clipper attachment sizes from 1/8" to 1". There is also lever on the clipper to further customize the length if needed. Overall a high quality product that Penny was able to tolerate well!
