Power does not last long

This is my 2nd one, the 1st one i was able to return before warranty period expired. Only got 6 clippings of my doodle that year. This time I got 8 out of it, but

This is my 2nd one, the 1st one i was able to return before warranty period expired. Only got 6 clippings of my doodle that year. This time I got 8 out of it, but outside warranty period when power faded out again. $200 clipper that only lasts 6-8 clippings is not good. Will not purchase again.

My one and only complaint is that the blade gets really hot really fast if you use it as a higher speed. So be prepared to need to oil them frequently and be cautious

Easy to use

These work well for my tight curled doodles. The noise level is low and I like the different speeds. The cord is quite long so I am happy I went with the cord clippers

Worked!

My pup hates going to the groomer, so much that I decided to try grooming myself. A friend suggested this trimmer, and it worked well. I had to do research about choosing blades and oiling them. I probably have more to learn about getting to the the troublesome spots, such as sanitary areas. But it worked well, and I saved 200 bucks. Win, win! However, I did need to watch a few videos to figure out how to use the machine, which made me more confident. Also, I had to read about putting oil on the blades. Nice machine, tho! Very happy on my purchase.

They just don't last like they used to and it's very expensive to drop the amount every year for a new pair due to faulty equipment.

My prior clippers were Andis Pro Grade Excell 5 -Speed Quad Force Super Duty and lasted through dogs kicking off my table, etc for over 3 years. The clipper box

My prior clippers were Andis Pro Grade Excell 5 -Speed Quad Force Super Duty and lasted through dogs kicking off my table, etc for over 3 years. The clipper box no longer has SUPER DUTY on the box. You do not show the box. Within a few months the switch works intermittently, the cap pops off over the blade drive. I now have taped with duct tape. I through away $200. I have been grooming for 38 years.
