Does this have to be used along with oil? Seems the nylon sleeve inbetween the ceramic blade and metal blade is always corroding so fast and you can't buy a replacement just for that part - have to buy the whole blade. I'm currently only using this spray and no oil.

Cool Care Plus must be used with blade oil. Cool Care is a disinfectant, one of the main ingredients is Alcohol, which will dry out the blade surface, oil must be used to prevent rust on the blade surface. Oil also serves as a lubricant to ensure the blades run cool and smooth when cutting fur.
Can coolant spray be used while grooming pet to cool down blade.

During use, turn off clippers occasionally to spray the blade and teeth. The lubricating aerosol sprays away hair, dandruff, and dust particles, and cools the metal.
