Clipper with #10 UltraEdge blade, tube of blade oil, extra blade drive.
DETECT! Regular clipping makes fleas and ticks more visible!
Grooming Prep: Make sure your pet is healthy and ready for grooming! Before any clipping or trimming is started, your pet must be bathed, dried and brushed. This will ensure both you and your pet have a happy grooming experience and you will get the best results out of your Andis clipper or trimmer.
Tip: For pets new to grooming with a clipper or trimmer, gently get them used to the noise of the tool with it turned on but not touching the pet. Once they are used to the noise, gently lay it against the pet with the blade pointing up and not cutting anything; you can also slowly rub it against their body or face. Eventually your pet will get used to the new grooming tool and both you and your pet will have an enjoyable grooming experience.
Basic Maintenance of your Andis Clippers & Trimmers: 1. Turn off the tool. Clean out loose debris with a blade brush.
Turn the tool on. Use Andis Cool Care Plus® spray to clean and cool the blade. Turn off the tool and wipe off excess residue.
Turn on the tool and apply 5 drops of Andis Blade Oil to the blade: Place 3 drops across the front teeth and 1 drop at each inside rear corner of the blade. Slightly tilt the clipper or trimmer to the side, allowing the oil to run off onto a towel. Run the clipper for approximately 10 seconds, then turn it off and wipe off any remaining oil.
Note – If you continue to notice a decrease in performance after cleaning and oiling, please consult your Andis use & care manual.

These clippers are terrible! I swear the blade is dull! I cut 1/4 of my goldendoodle and just couldn’t do anymore. My poor girl looks like she has mange. I’ve been grooming my doodles for 3 years now and normally use the Wahl KM10 but my last set died on me and they were out of stock so I ordered these. So disappointed! Thank goodness for Chewy’s amazing customer service!
I have been grooming my dogs for years with Andis shavers. I now have three little old Yorkies and I had one heck of a time with this shaver. Rips the hair out! I ended up shaving them down to their skin. I think I got the same one that I already had. Maybe it needs to break in.
I have used these clippers for years, as a professional groomer. Yes the clippers heat up but that is completely normal. You have to switch your blades out when they heat up, so always have a extra blade, if you don’t have time to stop every few minutes to let everything cool down. Helpful is to keep a little tile next to you and you take the blade off when you lay it down on the tile to help it cool down quicker. Great clippers, I would definitely buy them over and over again. I’ve either this or the blue pair for the last 15 years.
After using various cheap clippers for my Pomeranian, I bought this Andis clipper as an upgrade. A friend recommended the brand after many years of using an Andis clipper. Where this clipper is an improvement is mostly in the blades. It cuts through the thick fur easily. The blade does get hot, but that seems common to me. The Andis clipper feels heavier, that's not necessarily a bad thing. The switch slides easily. I found that blades are easily found and affordable with a little searching around. I chose this model because of the motor and the two speeds. On high speed this clipper makes quick work of clipping. It doesn't bog down at all. I am impressed with this clipper and wish I would have known to purchase one earlier. That would have saved a lot of time and been much easier to use.
This is the third clipper I have purchased. I have two goldendoodles who needed a lot of TLC, and I am thrilled at how well this clipper works! I would give it 10 stars if I could
So, it does get through my Poodle's coat well BUT it gets very hot very quickly. Hot enough to burn him within 5 minutes on low speed even though it's clean and oiled. It's also quite heavy, but I do like that it isn't too loud.
Only after 10 seconds, the clippers are too hot to even touch! Im hoping its just this one defective product, since we've never had issues with the same clippers before.
Considering how much money I spent on these clippers I can't believe how useless, I had to purchase a different brand that actually works, I bought Wahl brand FYI works wonderfully, Andis is garbage!!!!! What a waste of money, so disappointed
I used it twice. So far so good. Only thing is that I hope it lasts. That's usually the thing that clipper doesn't last long. I bought this clipper to mainly use to take care of my aussiedoodle matted hair. However, it doesn't take the matted hair as easily as I thought. This clipper didn't not perform well on neck, head and armpits areas. I needed to use a pair of scissor to assist, which is not recommended. I would like to say if the hair has no matt/knots, it goes through like butter. I guess all clippers do! This is definitely a heavy clipper. I wish it has a slimmer body that I can hold it better. The round smooth body does slip off easy sometime, especially I have smaller hands. The blade does get hot very fast! I had to pause a lot during the shaving! The blade is super sharp. It does cut dog skin accidentally, even though everyone says #10 is the most safe blade to use. I still had to be careful instead of shaving my dog freely. I think a guard will be my next purchase to see that will provide better protections on dog skin.
It did not work any more after 2 uses. Chewy told me they can not anything.
