Andis Detachable Blade Clippers

Choose from a selection of 5-speed, 2-speed, or single-speed clippers for your next groom. Equipped with an industry standard-size #10 blade, which can easily be swapped out for other sizes, they are best for dogs with heavy, curly, or medium coat types. Mix it up—go long or short and groom from head to tail for a perfect finish. Attachment combs, either included or sold separately, let you achieve different cut lengths for a variety of cuts and styles.

Always wash, dry, and brush your pet’s coat before grooming for best results.

Change Blades Easily

Turn clipper off to take the blade off. Place new blade on blade hinge and turn the tool on before snapping the blade in place.

Stay Cool and Sharp 

Keep an extra blade on hand to swap out during heavy grooming and use Cool Care Plus often.

Lubricate Blades

Do these clippers/blades get hot easily or can you groom a dog without having to swap blades?

We recommend following proper blade/clipper maintenance to keep the blade and clipper running smoothly. Make sure to clean the blade, apply Cool Care Plus, wash away any hairs with the Blade Care Plus, and apply Clipper Oil. Also, the CeramicEdge blades are designed to run cooler than steel.

Do the clippers also come with attachment to be able to plug in to electric if needed

These clippers are battery powered. A charging adapter and charging stand are included, but the clippers themselves do not connect to a plug.

This clipper was used maybe five times and never had great power This should be replaced or I am willing to payw a little more but the company should definitely

Disappointed!

Battery only lasted one charge

I charged the clipper exactly the way I was directed. After one use, the light was flashing, and the battery would not charge again. What a waste.

The cordless aspect is incredibly helpful in going mobile with a trim, even outdoors, and the quiet hum calmed my pup during grooming sessions. I was able to trim her for lengthier periods of time without restlessness or anxiety. Paired the clipper with the Universal Stainless Steel Combs 8-Piece Set (Item #24845), and it’s a dream. I appreciate its role in my creativity and ease of use! Absolutely recommend.
