Does this help with vomiting

Does this help with nausea

Answer by ChewyMay 27, 2020
Animal Essentials Colon Rescue Herbal GI Support Dog & Cat Supplement can help with nausea. It may work more efficiently for this if given directly by mouth 30 min to 1 hour prior to mealtime.

Is the recommended dose supposed to be given in it's entirety 2-3 separate times daily or divided up into halves/thirds?

Answer by ChewySep 23, 2022
Apply orally; 2-3 times daily. Squirt the recommended dose directly into your companion's mouth, preferably between meals, using the graduated dropper provided. This will allow for maximum absorption without interference from food digestion. If this is impossible, try adding to a small amount of water, or salt-free meat broth. As a last resort, add to food.

Approximately how many doses are there in the 2 oz bottle for a 70 lb dog?

Answer by ChewyFeb 24, 2022
The 1 ounce bottle contains 30 mL and the 2 ounce bottle contains 60 mL. Usage length will vary depending on dosage being given. The dosage information may be located by clicking the “Feeding Instructions” tab, on the product page. A one ounce bottle with last up to 30 days for a 70 pound dog, when giving 2 mL daily.

Our American Ringtail Vivienne has terrible constipation. She only eats wet food with water added to each meal and still had issues. I recently tried this Colon Rescue and it actually helps. Our holistic vet approved of it as wel. Vivi has an easier time in the litter box. She also doesn't mind the taste. Colon Rescue will definitely be in our cat cupboard from now on!

Despite many tests my cat’s vet couldn’t find a reason for his vomiting. I tried all kinds of foods & tricks but he continued to vomit every couple of days. I finally read about slippery elm & found Colon Rescue. My extremely picky cat does not mind the taste at all & has only vomited once in 2weeks! I even suggested it to a friend who has also had great results as well.

This liquid may work for dogs but not for cats. The taste is very strong and my cat gagged and ran away when I gave it to him. And would not touch his food when I tried that way. Perhaps the powder would be a better way to go.

My 17 year old Yorkie has been dealing with loose stools/diarrhea on and off for several months. Last week - it was the worst of it. I finally pulled this out of the cabinet and gave it a go. IMMEDIATELY cleared it up. Since, I’ve been giving it daily and he has had the longest streak of solid stools that I can remember! So pleased with this product.

Good product

It's a good, gentle laxative for minor constipation. The cats don't mind the flavor.
