No usage instructions

The directions are gone. It does give you dosage amounts but doesn't specify if it goes in/on the food or if you have to dispense directly in the mouth.

Great results

My 16 year old cat has been diagnosed with mega-colon. She gets so constipated we have had to spend thousands to have her sedated and given enemas. The doctor gave us prescriptions for sub-q's and laxatives. After trying this route she wouldn't be able to make it to the litter box and just went where she was. She also hated getting the fluids and hated the taste of the laxative. I knew there had to be a better way. My husband and I began adding chicory to our coffee and found that it really made us regular so, I decided to look for a supplement for cats that also contained chicory. Thant's when I found Animal Essentials Healthy Gut. After one week my cat began having daily bowl movements and making it into the litter box. It's been over a month now and we have a happy kitty that goes potty in the box every morning, has unbelievable energy and licks her lips when I say, "time for your chicory". I'm over the moon that we found this product.

I adopted a 1-yr-old kitty with rampant Giardia that had caused serious damage to her GI tract. We tried everything: diet change, meds, steroids. We couldn’t get rid of the chronic diarrhea, but I’ve been adding this to her diet every night for the past five months, and it helped with her stool almost immediately. She’s had solid stool and her GI tract has been able to heal. We’ve reached a point to where she can eat anything I feed her as long as this is added to the food, and I imagine we’ll be able to remove this supplement completely if I wanted to.
