I gave this to my cats in their normal wet food. I added the contents of one capsule per cat and mixed it in. They all ate it willingly and did not seem to have any issues with the taste or texture. I have one cat who has a delicate constitution and has had soft stools and vomiting on occasion. The vet recommended one of the ingredients in this product, specifically the S Boulardi. I had been purchasing human capsules and just sprinkling a little bit of a capsule into his food and mixing it. This is much more convenient and I feel more comfortable giving him something that is made for cats. The additional ingredients also seem like they would be helpful. All of my cats seem to tolerate it well and I will keep giving it to them from time to time for maintenance.

Unfortunately, this probiotic was not as enticing for my cats who need to take it. Additionally, unlike other probiotics I have used in the past, a couple days of this causes significant stomach upset in one of my cats. We confirmed that the probiotic was the cause after avoiding using it, and then restarting use.
Digestive Aid was Unpalatable
I chose to review this product because my 17 year old cat has been throwing up dry cat food pieces occasionally. Upon review of the capsules, I was encouraged that
I chose to review this product because my 17 year old cat has been throwing up dry cat food pieces occasionally. Upon review of the capsules, I was encouraged that the size was small. I was hopeful that the small amount in the capsule could be hidden in canned food and he would eat it. Not a chance. After using two different flavors of his favorite canned cat food with the digestive aid mixed in the food, he still refused to eat it. It is unknown if the product would work to help his digestion, because it is impossible to get him to eat it. After trying to mix the aid in cat food, I tried giving it to him with a pill aid. He could not tolerate the capsule because of the size and texture. The product smells and looks like it is fresh, but must have an alien taste to it. My suggestion to the manufacturer or anyone looking for a digestive aid for their cat would be to make one or find one that is in a chewable form that cats find attractive.

I have been giving one of my cats a different brand of probiotic for many years, and she was fond of it, but not in the way she loves this new brand. Sometimes she refuses to eat her wet food, rubbing on my hand, until I sprinkle some of the AnimalBiome powder over it, and then she devours the whole lot. The only negative is that the capsules are small and at times difficult to open in order to sprinkle little bits of the probiotic powder on each meal. I will be buying this brand henceforth.

We recently adopted a new cat and came in handy for the little bit of stress diarrhea that occured from the change in food and environment. I do think it was more effective than other things I've tried in the past and was impressed with the results.

I wish I could give a 5 star rating, but neither of my cats would take this pill. I would get it down their throat, then they would cough it up. If this came in
