I use as a preventative

My horse is a 12 year old 18.3 Hanoverian who competed in 5' jumpers. Even though he's still relatively young, between his size and his former jumping career, I suppose it doesn't hurt to put him on a joint supplement as a preventative to keep him comfortable. I also use the animed msm and between the two, he's been in good shape and hasn't had any issues so even though I can't comment on whether or not I see a difference, I feel confident it's going to help keep him sound longer! The only thing I don't like is the very fine powder and the smell is kind of weird....it's a brownish green powder but luckily the dose is a small amount and my boy willingly eats it with his grain. I'm always more hesitant with powder supplements since they settle to the bottom and he tends to leave them there.
