Good TREAT but messy opening

First of all NONE of Applaws “Wet Food” are complete and balanced foods. The company is misleading and the disclosures that these are for supplemental feeding only

First of all NONE of Applaws “Wet Food” are complete and balanced foods. The company is misleading and the disclosures that these are for supplemental feeding only are very tiny. They make good snacks that can safely comprise 10-20% of your cats diet. Less for kittens. Anything more than that, you are setting your cat up for nutritional imbalances. Shame on them for marketing foods to life stages without meeting AFFCO guidelines. Their kitten foods are about texture, not nutrition. Shame on Chewy for listing this under food instead of treats. Now as a treat or occasional meal it is offers good hydration and is good for after GI upset because of its simplicity. These plastic cups are wasteful. They are too small for a cat to comfortably eat out of so the food is best transferred to a saucer or plate to prevent whisker fatigue. I don't think they are recyclable. The foil top needs to be pulled off very carefully and with the cup on a flat surface or the contents will splatter and spill everywhere!

My picky eater really seems to like this. We’ve tried a variety of Applaws chicken options and this “chicken with chicken liver in broth” seems to beat out the other

My picky eater really seems to like this. We’ve tried a variety of Applaws chicken options and this “chicken with chicken liver in broth” seems to beat out the other combos like salmon, etc. I do prefer the cans to the plastic containers though.

Too much rice!!

Our cat loves Applaws broth, so I bought a variety of flavors; however, not this chicken & liver. There is too much rice that absorbs all the broth, so it's dry;

Our cat loves Applaws broth, so I bought a variety of flavors; however, not this chicken & liver. There is too much rice that absorbs all the broth, so it's dry; when I opened it, the rice stuck with each other. I had to pick out the rice before I fed our cat, who showed no interest in this. The Applaws broth had about 2-3% rice before, but this new package cast is about 6%-7% rice. Applaws, don't change your formula for the worse.
