How can this product get away without including taurine, which I thought was essential for cats, and part of the AAFCO guidelines?

The taurine levels in complementary food are occurring natural from the raw materials used. This recipe does not meet the guidelines of the AAFCO for complete and balanced food. It should be fed alongside a balanced food.

Accidentally bought the wrong food

My cats seem to like the Applaws fish with gravy and I accidentally bought the broth. I have tried feeding it to them for a few days and neither will touch it. I

My cats seem to like the Applaws fish with gravy and I accidentally bought the broth. I have tried feeding it to them for a few days and neither will touch it. I mixed it in with their old food and still a no go. Unfortunately, I had to order the gravy so they will eat some wet food since they won’t touch this. I also accidentally ordered this in cans, too. I will try the cans when they arrive and if they don’t like them, will donate all to my mother-in-law who feeds stray ferals.
