What country are these made in?

This treat is made in Thailand; sourced from human-quality food suppliers and prepared alongside big brands you will recognize from the supermarket shelves – all Applaws factories have been audited to British Retail Consortium Standards for Food Safety. They take great care to select supply partners to ensure that Applaws food is always made to the highest possible standards.
What kind of mackerel is it? Is it the low mercury Atlantic or Atka mackerel?

The manufacturer is unable to specify the species of mackerel used stating it is intellectual property. However, they use the best quality fish that meets the highest human food standards and confirm that all of their products are tested for mercury to ensure that their food is always safe for cats.
What is the phosphorus content on an as fed and on a dry matter basis?

Terrible nutritionally

really unhappy to see they’re full of ash… Giving cats any kind of food containing ash leads to serious kidney problems… Please change your recipe

great quality meat for treats or small meal

I started getting these for my cats as a treat and all four LOVE this filet. It is easy to break up to share and the meat has been in great condition and quality every one i open. I am glad to have a minimally processed fish meal to add into their diet.

Best treat ever!

My cat is allergic to salmon and he's not a big fish eater. But he absolutely loves these Mackerel treats. I will always have to keep them on hand for him.
