Of course all the vet offices are closed here & the emergency vet is hours behind. They both seem to be doing fine now but I am certain I won't sleep tonight. Fed all 5 of my adult strictly indoor cats Applaws Vitality pate living here in South Carolina. I usually would mix water with their food but with the Applaws I fed as it came from the can. With having 5 cats, it would be more appealing if a larger size was available. Removing the food from the can was easy but it always had some stuck on the bottom being very difficult to get all out. Even using a spoon did not help. I actually had to scub the can clean before recycling. The consistency of the food was very pasty and thick with no definition but it did not seem to affect the cats.Color was a faded pink/beige like color. Each morning they happily looked forward to their food and quickly ate every last bit. However, one of them, my 7 year old,usually finicky eater, threw it up within an hour. Tried again second day; by the 3rd it was less often but she continued to eat it when served. I always trust and recommend Chewy but I'm not sure if this product would be accepted by every cat.

This food is a great option for cats who prefer fish-flavored foods. The texture is a bit looser than a traditional pate, which my cats don’t mind as I add water to their wet food anyway. I’m picky about ingredients, and this food has a good list. This was not an immediate hit, but rather one where they returned to the bowl a bit later to eat. One of my cats cannot have fish, so this wasn’t an option for her, but if your cats can have fish and enjoy an almost mousse-like texture from a pate this is a good option. Gave 4 stars since it wasn’t immediately gobbled up.

I wish I could have gotten better photos, but my cats didn’t give me a chance. They go crazy when they smell this food. Definitely one of the best wet cat foods!

I recently tried these tuna pâté cans for my two cats, aged 12 and 4. I was surprised that the smell wasn’t strong, as they didn’t rush over immediately. When I called them, they came to try it. My older cat licked it a little but didn’t like it—she’s extremely picky, and finding something she enjoys is always a challenge. However, my younger cat, Neo, a 4-year-old Persian, absolutely devoured it! I’m happy he likes it because I always worry that dry food isn’t the best for his urinary health. I’ll definitely try the other varieties!
