My Cats Won't Touch This Food

Applaws was what my cats most loved but the Vitality tuna has something they don't like. All the other tuna varieties seem fine. Their quality control maybe is off,

Applaws was what my cats most loved but the Vitality tuna has something they don't like. All the other tuna varieties seem fine. Their quality control maybe is off, one time the cans were all broth mostly very little tuna in each. This is the last time I'll buy this brand and the twenty cans left of this will donate with hope some other cats will like it.

On a scale of 1-10 measuring “finicky,” my cats are about a 7. They turn their noses up at a fair bit of dry and wet food. Applaws tuna filet wet food is a favorite, though. They licked their plates clean. There was just a bit of broth and the food was filleted nicely. It looked like a tiny can of human tuna. The packaging was very compact which makes it easy to store and minimizes waste. The company is also a certified B-Corp if that’s important to you. I’d recommend this wet food.

A big hit with my picky cats

My cats are extremely picky and as soon as I think I found a food they love, they are no longer interested in it. The Applaws Vitality is a win! Both of my cats lap it up. There is a good amount of broth (which my cats love) and it smells like tuna. They love the texture right from the can, so no mushing or fussing when putting it in their bowl. It was very easy to get out of the can and both of my cats loved it. No more waste from food rejection!

I thought my cat would LOVE this when I first opened the can. It smells and looks more like "people" tuna than any other tuna-type cat food I've ever seen. But he

I thought my cat would LOVE this when I first opened the can. It smells and looks more like "people" tuna than any other tuna-type cat food I've ever seen. But he won't touch it and I can't figure out why. I finally did a test. I used Starkist people tuna, Fancy Feast grilled tuna in gravy and the Applaws tuna. My cat liked the first 2, but not the Applaws. I don't understand why. I'll keep offering it & will report back of things change.
