keep my fish happy

I have a fish tank for over 30 years (but who counts...), and raised generations of fish. The water quality is key to longevity - and the activated carbon filters

I have a fish tank for over 30 years (but who counts...), and raised generations of fish. The water quality is key to longevity - and the activated carbon filters seem to do a good job. I tried other options - activated carbon in bulk, sponge filters and algae killer chemicals. These were not very effective and not well tolerated. So, I stick with the carbon filter inserts.
