It is recommended to replace the beads monthly and remove uneaten food for optimal results. If betta beads shrink prematurely, this is a quick indicator that the water hardness is not optimal for your betta. We recommend changing the water with soft (deionized or specially filtered) betta waters.

Bought these thinking they would help keep my beta, and make him better. Immediately within hours of adding them she became lethargic, and non responsive. A few

Bought these thinking they would help keep my beta, and make him better. Immediately within hours of adding them she became lethargic, and non responsive. A few days later she is dead. Fish was one of the strongest and hardiest that have had. Smart and friendly. Whatever is in these also killed one of her tank mates a tetra as well. Do not buy or use if you love your fish. Would rate zero stars if I could!

Love these beads

I usually buy the blue beads but I’ve also used the pink for my beta boy. He loves these beads, almost playing in them. They do exactly what they promise and shrink

I usually buy the blue beads but I’ve also used the pink for my beta boy. He loves these beads, almost playing in them. They do exactly what they promise and shrink after a couple of weeks. I usually clean my beta’s hard water fish bowl every two weeks and the water stays clear that long with only a fine film on top of the water. I also use colored glass beads with the beta beads for some extra pop in his bowl.
