Answer by ChewyMay 10, 2022
It is recommended to use only 1 leaf for a 10 gallon tank.

do the Betta eat these?
Answer by ChewyNov 30, 2023
This product is mainly for improving the ambiance of aquatic tanks suitable for thriving aquatic pets. However, it also serves as a natural food source for aquatic pets. If you have breeding fish, Mini Catappa leaves also serve to provide fish with a secure place to anchor their eggs. These fish create bubble nests and use this floating leaf to create them.

Great for reducing mild fin rot.

I added a bunch of catappa leaves to my goldfish tank when they were starting to show early signs of fin rot. The tannins these added to the water cleared up the fin rot pretty quickly without lowering the pH too much. (I tested before and after.) They take about 2-3 months to degrade. I will be keeping this up as a regular part of my tank maintenance from now on.

Bland leaves

After adding several of these leaves to a 6 gallon tank, twice The water never changed colors as it should have had there been tannins in these leaves. I found them to not be helpful at all I will not buy Sun grow leaves again.

Super nice for tank!

These are about one inch leaves each and they add great tannis to your tank! My betta loves these! So do my shrimp.
