Archstone Pets Strawberry Dog Snuffle Mat

We needed a way to give our older, blind dog more stimulation during the day and our vet recommended feeding him through snuffle mats. This one was the cutest, so I picked it. Works great! We scatter his kibble around it and he finds every piece. He’s started shaking the mat when he’s hungry, it’s very cute. The mat’s colors are bright, it’s a fun item to see on the floor, it’s not too big, and it’s constructed well to survive daily use with our two dogs.

Definitely check the dimensions before you buy, the price and the image of it under the dog made it seem much larger than it is. It’s cute and my dog likes it but maybe suited better for a chihuahua or a tiny dog like that.

My doggo baby LOVES this. It’s her first snuffle mat and she adores it. Does little hops when I bring it out. The only thing is the red leaves lint all over her face mainly her chin after she’s done searching for her treats so she looks like she’s bleeding like a vampire lol. The first time I thought she cut herself but then I realized it’s just lint from the strawberry. It’s been a couple uses and it still happens. I decided to lint roll it and I lint rolled it at least 11 times and it is still going strong with the lint. The lint is strong with this one haha. I wonder if I should throw it in the wash but I’m afraid of destroying it. I think I will take a break and then continue lint rolling for as long as it takes lol. Might take the whole roll. But it’s worth it bc she loves this toy. She loves digging through it :)
