The smells are very accurate. I think it works? Still testing but I have noticed that they teeth are less stained. I brush they teeth almost every day except Fridays, so I use that to combat plaque buildup. Not 100% but I really like this as an option. My Hess doesn't care too much for the fish smell, but she doesn't refuse it either. Overall it was a dental product that I was waiting for.

An option for cats who swallow solid treats whole.

Our 15 year old beast is a big boy who swallows most solid treats whole. So the point of Greenies’ cleaning textures are moot for a cat like him who doesn’t chew

Our 15 year old beast is a big boy who swallows most solid treats whole. So the point of Greenies’ cleaning textures are moot for a cat like him who doesn’t chew. In his advancing years, he’s had a couple of expensive cleanings and teeth removed. Dry food and treats are likely uncomfortable for him to consume to the point he won’t touch them, and we’ve moved him exclusively to wet food. Thus, when I saw these on the shelf for the first time, I figured “why not?” I split a tube a day to two of his feedings, and he gobbles it right up. Our regular vet visits usually include a few comments on his oral health, but since using this product, there has been no mention and he’s gotten the all clear on his bill of health. I even feel that his teeth look noticeably whiter. If you’ve got a cat like ours, this could be an answer.
