Armarkat Tube Shape Cat Bed

I bought this because it's narrow/short enough to fit on an end table within reach of an outlet so I could put a bed warmer in it for the winter. I wouldn't recommend it unless you need a bed this exact size and are willing to expend some effort to keep the top part popped up. There is no support in it whatsoever. The stuffing that gives it the ribbed look makes the top heavy and bulky but without the marginal support that thin foam would have provided. It'll be flat as a pancake just from gravity. I made supports to hold it up from old wire coat hangers. It's also VERY small, with a way-too-thick bed insert and the stuffed dome taking up too much space. My ~12lb cats didn't want to go inside. I replaced the puffy bed insert with a thinner foam K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat and now it's perfect. There's almost always a cat in there happy as a clam and toasty warm. I have no clue how, but two of them even managed to wedge themselves in together the other day. They have a half dozen other heated beds around the house but really like the covered one!

My cat can't turn around in it, if you have a large cat don't buy this, it's long and not tall enough. I put my daughter's little dog in it and the dog didn't like it but the large dogs though it was a toy and carried it around the house...

This is hard to review because from what I can see this should be very comfortable and, for any cat who likes this style bed, very cozy. BUT not one of my cats has ever ventured into this bed! I went ahead and gave 5 stars because it is well-made and looks good to my human eyes!
