Aspen Pet Petbarn 3 Plastic Dog House

The dog house is very well made. I'd buy it again. We have two Border Aussie's (Minis). We bought the largest house in hopes it will hold both of them as adult dogs. It's very large, I think it will work. Like others have said the top does not seem to "snap" together with the base but it's been in some pretty heavy wind and the top is holding.

It's a good, well made dog house. My dog won't go into it, but she's shy around most confined spaces anyway, because she is a rescue dog from a local shelter. The dog house was super simple to snap together and set up. And was in my price range. I have high hopes that my indoor/outdoor dog will eventually use it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a sturdy and affordable dog house.

I love that I can flip the top to create two entries/exits. Lined the whole thing with bubble foil wrap for insulation, put a few plushy kitty blankets in it, laid a thick faux sherpa blanket over the top and voila! Perfect warm and sturdy home for our front yard kitty. We took him in when his owner moved without him, and right now he has it sooooo good at our house.

My Alaskan Malamute is 65 pounds we bought the 50-90 pound house and I was worried at first because she is longer than the house. She only goes in when it’s very cold out but it’s great because she curls up and fits just fine. She did chew the edges off the first few days it was out, the plastic did not stand up to her chewing power. However the house is more than capable and does what it’s designed to do. Keeps her warm and out of the wind/weather when needed. We added extra insulation to the bottom, top and outside sides for this particularly cold weather we’ve been having. The house is good for wind but not very insulated.

Not only were these a great price, hey were delivered 2 hours before I had to get to work. I was able to snap 7 of these together for my dogs, bring them out, and get ready for work. Having been discounted I admit I was worried, nope. They are plastic, lightweight, roomy!!!! and idiot proof. No tools needed, snap and ready to go. I couldnt be more happy!

It certainly isn't luxurious but it's sturdy and well built. Was easy to put together (2 pieces that snap together) and my 40lb cattle dog and her thick orthopedic bed fit great. (actually the bed was a little long but we "scrunched" it in.)

Arrived on time. Box was pretty beaten up through fed ex shipping but luckily the product wasnt. While assembling the dog house ( just 2 large pieces, a top that clips to a bottom) a couple of the clips didnt clamp down on each side of house. Luckily, there are two pre-made screw holes (one on each side of house) so i had to find a couple screws to secure the dog house together completely. While i do recommend this dog house, they should send screws along with it bc it doesnt fit together right without them. Other than that, it is a very sturdy and thick plastic house that stands bad weather like a champ.

I'm sorry I purchased this nice looking dog house! I bought this a few Mo.ago and am finally going to write a Review. This fills with about 4" of water in the bottom when it rains. Couldn't figure out why our Red Healer wouldn't lay in the dog house after a few times during the day. We got it for a little shade when he is outside. He's he is in and out during the day and inside at night. I moved it to the back deck..didn't help. I look at it every day and think of what I paid for it. Got back out his big wooden house. Not happy

I can't imagine how anyone could be less than pleased, with this super quality shelter! I love these for cats inside an already sheltered cattery. I set them raised on STURDY TABLES, and the cats even enjoy climbing around on top when the sunlight comes around! So easy to keep clean, and the kitties pile up inside the size medium's. All cleanly blanketed so they feel cozy. Keenly recommend for all types of dogs, also, in this and other appropriate sizes. These houses keep cold air drafts out. (I do dog and cat rescue.) This house is NOT insulated, and should NOT be considered an outdoor in the elements, protective shelter. THERE WOULD BE ICE COLD WATER INSIDE IN A MINUTE. Very comfortable size for my German Shepard. It keeps him dry from rainy days. You must buy a rug or blanket for the bottom for the dog to lay on otherwise they will not use it. Very wonderful looking house.
