Does this work for dry food too?

This can be used for dry food, however, due to the low inner ridges it will possibly not aid in your pet eating slow.

Meowtastic

We brought a shop cat into our household who was used to free feeding. Getting her adapted to scheduled feedings was intense. Bought this slow feeder and it is working miracles. Our new girl is petite and this slow feeder is perfect size wise and ridge depth. Highly recommend and like the suction cups on bottom.

Non toxic licking plate

I loved how this licking plate /slow feeder is BPA free and dishwasher safe, we used Buddy Butters and spread a small amount on the plate and BoBo seemed to enjoy

I loved how this licking plate /slow feeder is BPA free and dishwasher safe, we used Buddy Butters and spread a small amount on the plate and BoBo seemed to enjoy licking. Will also use for travel. It didn’t work in the bathtub for stress with our dog but it might for other dogs. Still a nice product for alleviating stress.

Love the bowls, measurements are wrong

I got these for my kitten and senior cat both of whom eat quickly and messily. This is the first lick mat solution I’ve found that they can clean the bowl (mostly)

I got these for my kitten and senior cat both of whom eat quickly and messily. This is the first lick mat solution I’ve found that they can clean the bowl (mostly) while also keeping the mess to a minimum. That said, the measurements listed here are incorrect. Each bowl has a diameter of 6in, not 5 as listed. I was in search of a ceramic bowl to place these inside of to hopefully fully cut down on any crumbs left outside of the feeding area and I’m glad I didn’t order that online based on the size listed here because I would be out of luck. Other than a request to update the product listing, no notes from me or my girls!

Perfect size for a cat and works wonders

Our cat is incredibly food motivated and eats waaaay too fast, like eats a whole can of cat food in 5 minutes fast. He throws up from eating too quick. We got this lick dish for him, and it now takes him 30+ minutes to finish his food! Exactly what we were looking for. It doesn’t have a weird smell to it and is super easy to clean. Also the perfect size. Definitely only works for canned food, drying kibble in this would not work. It fits a whole can of cat food, but I wouldn’t do any more than that in this dish.

Nice bowl for my toothless girl

I like the small size with the lick mat bottom. It doesn't stick to a vinyl floor, but I need to place it on top of a larger lick mat that does stick to my floor

I like the small size with the lick mat bottom. It doesn't stick to a vinyl floor, but I need to place it on top of a larger lick mat that does stick to my floor. It sticks to my counter top just great. Xena, my toothless Malshi, seems to like it ok. 4 stars only due to it slides too easily on my kitchen floor.

Functional and cute

My cat gobbles all of her wet food fairly quickly, and I was struggling to find a lick mat that had raised edges that wasn’t so big where I could also add water

My cat gobbles all of her wet food fairly quickly, and I was struggling to find a lick mat that had raised edges that wasn’t so big where I could also add water to her food. This item fit the criteria. That being said, I think the ridges somewhat discourage her, and she frequently leaves some food in the ridges behind. When using a regular plate, she eats every drop. I think something with even less raised ridges would be better for her. I don’t see this being a problem for maybe larger animals which is why I think it’s still a good product, and maybe it would work better with her dry food, but she doesn’t have a problem with eating dry food to quickly.
