Various "correction levels" allowing you to adjust the senstivity. Cons: Size: This collar is quite bulky, even on my medium-sized dog (17 lbs). It's advertised as being for dogs 8-150lbs, however it seems better suited for larger breeds. The pictures don't do it justice, but this collar was quite large and bulky on my dogs neck! Lack of Remote: The biggest downside is the lack of a remote. This means the collar automatically activates every time your dog barks, with no ability for you to control the timing or intensity of the correction in real time. This makes it unsuitable for training purposes where you might want to allow some barking. Potential for Overcorrection: Because it activates with every bark, it could potentially overcorrect a dog who barks for legitimate reasons (like alerting you to a stranger). This could lead to confusion and anxiety in your dog. Overall: While this bark collar is waterproof and rechargeable, the lack of a remote and its bulky size make it less than ideal. If you're looking for a training tool to help curb excessive barking, I'd recommend looking for a collar with a remote and adjustable settings. If you simply need to stop incessant barking and aren't concerned about nuanced training, this collar might be a decent option, especially given its waterproof feature.

I’ve been working with this on one of my very vocal dogs. We have only used the noise/vibration setting, and have not used the shock feature yet. I love that a test light is included to test the shock function, although I inadvertently tested it while familiarizing myself with the settings. It certainly doesn’t hurt, but it definitely gets your attention! I think this is worth a try if you are willing to put in the work and realize it’s not a quick fix.
