Great chew toy

We have not used this with peanut butter or other spreadable food as I think it would be messy (but both would probably adore that!), but both dogs love to chew

Firstly, it is a nice sized and sturdy toy. I had high hopes that it would be Newfie proof. It is about the size of a large mango cut lengthwise. The toy has a squeak when applying pressure. Tolkien was interested when I touched it to make it squeak. I cannot get him interested in it when I put it down for him to play with. It really does look like a well made toy. My dog just won’t play with it. I tried all weekend.

We were surprised that the toy squeaked at first. My dog decided she didn’t mind. She’s older and isn’t much of a fetch dog these days-but as suggested I smeared

She’s older and isn’t much of a fetch dog these days-but as suggested I smeared this toy with peanut butter and popped it in the freezer- and gave it to my dog outside… which entertained her for quite some time. More than I anticipated in fact!

My dog loves this toy! Its a tough enough rubber to stand up against her chewing but soft enough that it has give. She has to work a little to get it to squeak,
