BarksBar Comfy Classic Orthopedic Bolster Dog & Cat Bed with Removable Cover, Blue/Gray, Medium

I was excited when this bed arrived. My puppy has a hygroma on her elbow and this bed seemed plush and tough. The material is plain in appearance but soft and can handle puppy digging and scratching. The bolster edges of the bed are awesome and thick. The problem is the piece of memory foam that zips into the center. 1. It arrives tightly rolled in plastic. The one I first received has never quite uncurled. Chewy helped me contact the company and they quickly sent me a new one. It was better but still is uncurling after a week. 2. At best the memory foam is 3” thick and doesn’t provide the level of cushioning I had hoped and have seen with another bed we have. 3. The piece of foam doesn’t quite fill the center space accessed though a bottom zipper. There’s about 1-2” of blank space leaving no cushioning on each long side. This could be a function of the curling but it still seems too small. I still like the bed and hope to make the zipper section plusher with some extra material. It’s disappointing however.
