Where are these made

Answer by ChewyOct 03, 2022
These treats are made from free-range, grass-fed Brazilian cattle.

Is this treat rawhide?

Answer by ChewyJan 25, 2021
These treats are natural cow ears and contain no rawhide. These natural cow ears are sourced from free-range, grass-fed cattle for a healthier source of protein that’s easy to digest.

Are these prepared like pig ears and are brittle?

Answer by ChewySep 25, 2020
Baxter Boy Natural Cow Ears Dog Treats are prepared in the same process as pig ears. The Natural cow ears are slightly thinner than pigs ears due to the lower fat content.

What exactly is the difference between these and the White cow ear treats from this brand? Have the white ones been treated with chemicals and these are more natural and less processed?

Answer by ChewyJan 01, 2020
There is no difference between the treats besides the color.

These ears must be processed differently from other cow ears I have purchased These seem thinner and almost translucent, where others seems thicker and whiter in color. My older girl, Zoey, a 15 yo Aussie X. chewed this Baxter Boy ear until it was soft and small and it wound up getting caught up in her hard and soft pallet and she almost choked on it.

This is one of Max’s favorites. Of course it’s a treat but when he does get this it’s very pleasant for both Max and I. He enjoys tossing it around chewing it a little and then finishing it off eventually. It’s clean no smell and doesn’t stain the rug. All things we look for. In these type of ears. It’s a hit.

Pleased with quantity/size of the chews

My (4) dogs love them - they aren't greasy, they were large in size, and plenty chews per bag. I will buy them again. My dogs (all rescues) Gia, Rocco, Little

HUGE NOT FOR SMALL DOGS, DOG WONT EAT IT

These are HUGE about 6 inches long. Not for small breeds of 10 lbs. She also sniffed it, halfheartedly nibbled it, then abandoned it. I tried several times. No go

Cocoa will NOT let me near her when she is eating these. She loves them.

I don't like the size. It's too much for her tummy at one time. Tried to cut them, but IMPOSSIBLE!

It seems something has happened in the last couple years that caused the quality and consistency of cow ears to decline. I went through 3 other brands and settled one one brand that was just okay. These have by far been the most consistent. They're not as great as the cow ears I bought initially (different brand), but they're not tiny or thin or crumbly as other ears I've purchased, and some of the ears are quite large.
