Is this 23" tall? If not how tall is it?

Can the bed covers go in the dryer?

This item is not washable, and it cannot be put into the dryer either. We recommend wiping it clean with a damp cloth.

When you first get it in put it together you kind of wonder as to what keeps it up! And it’s amazing that the top part actually keeps it open and flat I actually bought this for a new cat, but our oldest cat Trouble decided it was all his! Nice and comfy, fluffy inside, although I wish there was like a snap to keep it down, trouble lounges around inside it all the time.

Our cat has rejected any previous cat beds and refused to even try to lay in them. I liked the looks of this double bed and I just placed it in a corner. She did get curious and decided to check it out for a short nap. Then she ignored for a week. I have now placed it inside our closet and several times I find her now napping on the top level. Guess it meets her standards and I am quite pleased to have bought an item that she actually is using. Very happy with my purchase.

Cat mistook it as a litter box

My foster cat mistook the cave part as her litter. Rough, I guess it does look like a litter box. It's also too big for most washing machines here. I've tried washing

It smells bad

I have to return this because of the smell. It has an odor I thought would go away but it stinks really badly. My kitty doesn’t even want to sleep On it and it seems

I already had one e and liked it so much I ordered another.

A very nice feature about this one is the top zips open so if I have a kitty inside and need him for a vet appt, I just remove the top part, unzip the covering,

Perfect!

Pinto is an abandoned cat I've been feeding since 2018...very meek so the other abandoned cats always take his bed, and he's searching where to sleep, have safety

Pinto is an abandoned cat I've been feeding since 2018...very meek so the other abandoned cats always take his bed, and he's searching where to sleep, have safety and enough food. We built a cat shelter for Grey, another feral/socialized alpha male, and he would use it. We put this homemade shelter on our roof and Pinto sleeps in it with bedding and insulation -- but it's getting colder here, so I wanted to make an insert -- this bed fits perfectly, and I could fold it to stick it in the homemade shelter -- you can barely see Pinto in the bed because it's deep and he has enough room to be comfortable, safe and warm.

I purchased this for my senior cats as something new for them. They just didn't take to it. I think this is a cat attraction for kittens or young active cats but

I purchased this for my senior cats as something new for them. They just didn't take to it. I think this is a cat attraction for kittens or young active cats but not so much for senior cats. I think it's a great product but not so much for older, less active cats. If you have young cats I would recommend this.
