Dog isn't interested

I bought this for my Labrador mix, who has short hair and arthritis in her legs. I thought the self-warming bed would be great both for keeping her warm in winter

I bought this for my Labrador mix, who has short hair and arthritis in her legs. I thought the self-warming bed would be great both for keeping her warm in winter and for her joints. She typically loves all new beds, including those that are meant for the cat. Unfortunately, she would have nothing to do with this orthopedic bed, so I passed it along to a rescue. Although the fabric cover is soft, the bed seemed stiff, which may be why she disliked it.

My requirements in choosing an orthopedic bed for my large dog were: - Orthopedic - Thick crate to support a large dog - Good quality What I received was a bed, cheaply made, with the sizing for a dog at least 55 pounds less than my dog. The "orthopedic" crating is very thin and not at all even (depth). Returning to Chewy for refund

This came disassembled, with the foam mattress wrapped in plastic. Instructions said to let the mattress sit for 72 hours. After 2 weeks, there is still a massive

This came disassembled, with the foam mattress wrapped in plastic. Instructions said to let the mattress sit for 72 hours. After 2 weeks, there is still a massive crease in the middle. The topper is just slightly too small to fit over the foam mattress. The fabric is chintzy and not that soft. Overall, terrible product. Not worth it.

I personally have not laid on the bed lol. I did ask my dog Essie how she liked the bed when she was laying on it , ( she is 14 year's old ) and hard of hearing

Love the ease of the removable cover

My older lady loves the warmth and has made this her new bed. I’m impressed with the removable cover and that the zipper closure goes fully along two sides. That makes it so much easier to put the cover back on the memory foam. The soft sherpa type cover may collect some dirt but a wash is easy. The large will easily fit two medium dogs. On some colder mornings all three have adorably piled on this bed.

Supportive Bed

This bed came vacuum sealed and much smaller- so I was hesitant at first. But once it expanded and I was able to put the fitted cover on, it was perfect. It’s great

This bed came vacuum sealed and much smaller- so I was hesitant at first. But once it expanded and I was able to put the fitted cover on, it was perfect. It’s great for my 50lb dog but too small for my 80lb dog. I would say it’s definitely supportive but I can’t say as to whether it’s warming or not.

My pup is 13 and has been showing joint issues especially after lying on the floors for a period of time. I took his blanket and laid it on top of this pad and he loves it and I can see that he isn’t as stiff as before. He seems more playful. I think the comfort of the pad is responsible for his improvement. The cover is well made and the foam is very firm. This product will last years and my pup will continue to use it daily.

The cover is removable but the inside is just foam so beware if your dog does have an accident like my senior dogs, you can wash the cover but the whoopsies might have sunk into the foam. Great value and quality - just small things to consider.
