    Packrat / Mice problems

    By on

I am in the mountains and have problems with mice in the house and packrats in the engine compartment of my vehicle. I ran an extension cord to my vehicle and placed a device in the engine compartment. For over two months, no packrats in the vehicle. One night, I forgot to put it back in after coming home, and a packrat went to work big time. From my perspective, it has been very effective against them. I just have to be consistent on keeping it in place. Mice in the house have also been a problem but it really does seem like the units I have used have been effective on keeping them at bay. Sometimes I hear them in the space between the 1st and 2nd floors, but after a day or so, they seem I am in the mountains and have problems with mice in the house and packrats in the engine compartment of my vehicle. Bell & Howell

    By on

I would not recommend this item at all. I was excited about this product because it was only 14.99 and they are supposed to last 3 to 4 years. I am an avid Combat user, and I have never seen a bug in my house at all! But you have to replace them every 3 months, so I thought this would save me money, & have no chemical in my home. I plugged them in and all the sudden I started seeing these little black bugs. I thought ok, I'll give it a week or so, in case the bugs are just disoriented, but they still kept coming. Today I went into my bar, & there was a spider making a web right underneath one. Definitely going back to combat!

    Annoying red light

    By on

I've had similar product in the past that worked well. But I cannot tolerate the blinking red lights of these in my house. I'm pawning them off on my son, who will put them in his barn workshop. They may work out splendidly for him.

I can't tell if it made it worse or better

    By on

I read these reviews very unsure to buy these or not, I figured I'd just try it for myself. After 6 days I had no crickets! But in exactly a week, I saw one and every day after. I had to stop writing this review, I'm not even kidding, to kill one! (Last night was the first night I didn't have any) of course, they were waiting for me this morning. Anyway, some reviewers I think are right - these things might make the situation worse! I can't tell, all I know is I went almost a week without any and suddenly they were back. On average my cat kills one per night, one time there were three at once! But it could be up to 5 in any night at different times. It's disgusting. I'll be trying spray next, just need to find one that is pet friendly. … more

    Had high hopes

    By on

Had high hopes for this, was trying to avoid putting down traps that my son or fur babies can get ahold of. Had given this about 2 months and we had two mice since then. The first one was not to far after getting these set up. The second mouse was earlier this week. If I could return it I would.

    Didn't work

    By on

These seemed to do nothing. I had mice eating into items immediately in front of this repeller. I don't recommend.

    Complete garbage

    By on

They attract mice, ants you name it just plug it in and you'll have more critters then you can handle in no time. Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend unless you want a house full of critters.

    Pest Repellers

No worth a darn. We had a few bugs. We have more now. They even had the roaches making a home on and behind them. Poor quality.
