Beloved Pets Cat Calming Diffuser Refill, 6 count

I have been buying this brand of pheromone diffuser for well over a year now. And I’ve never had any issues until the past couple times. I thought maybe the actual diffuser unit was going bad. I went to my local pet store and purchased a new unit. And same issue is still happening. I don’t know if they’ve changed the manufacturing of these things. But as soon as they start heating up, horrendous burning smell starts happening. And it doesn’t matter where I put the diffuser or what outlet. They all do this. I’ve tried every one in the box and they all smell like they’re burning and about to catch fire. Please be aware if you’re going to purchase this product, it seems to be very dangerous. Again, they must’ve changed the formula because they did not smell like this. I’m throwing these things in the trash and will never purchase them again. I can’t even donate them. I’m afraid someone will get sick or something will catch fire.

This product did not really seem to work in my house but my cats do not have aggressive or behavioral issues. I was hoping it would help when they sometimes get a little too rough when playing but I honestly did not see any change there. However, to be fair, I cannot say for sure if this product would work for other behaviors. I did notice that the liquid did not last a full month, more like 3 weeks so please keep that in mind if trying this product. I kept it plugged in 24 hours a day.

These diffuser refills are used in conjunction with the calming diffuser which plugs into a wall outlet. The calming diffuser works to calm and destress my cats. They seem to not get as agitated or bothered as much by things that once seemed like the end of the world to them.
