Are these dishwasher safe? If not, how can they be disinfected?

To clean your dog's benebone, we recommend using a mild hand or dish soap and mix with warm to hot water. Some people have suggest that they like to put a little elbow grease into their cleaning routine and have success scrubbing with a new toothbrush!

Not the Best for Agressive Chewers

Unfortunately, I have a very aggressive chewer. This bone lasted longer than most of the others, thus the 3 stars The concern I have is that it sheds off plastic bits, getting into my dog's mouth and throat, and all over the rugs. Probably not a safe choice for a super aggressive chewer.

Made my dog bleed from mouth

I have a South African Bourbel that weighs 150 pounds. This product is not ideal for dogs as it causes bleeding.

BACON STICK

"RAYA" IS A 60 LBS. (2 YR. OLD) FEMALE G.S.D. AND IS A VERY HEAVY CHEWER. SHE LOVES THE BENEBONE (STICK & WISHBONE) BACON FLAVOR TOYS. SHE ENJOYS THEM DAILY AND BRINGS THEM TO BED WITH HER AT NIGHT TIME. THEY LAST EVERY LONG TIME ( 2 OR 3 MONTHS) DEPENDING ON THE SIZE THAT I ORDER. I DISCOVERED THE "BENEBONE" WHEN I ADOPTED "RAYA" FROM FOSTER PARENTS (SUPERIOR K9 ACADEMY) REP'S OF THE "DAYTONA BCH. G.S.D. RESCUE ORG." I ONLY BUY (BACON) FLAVOR BECAUSE RAYA MAY BE ALLERGIC TO ANYTHING CHICKEN. THANK YOU CHEWY !!!!!!!!!!!!

waste of $$$&

My dog has zero interest in this bone. It is the biggest waste of money. I will stick with visits to my butcher for femur bones. Best served raw and frozen.

Loud and heavy

My dog likes this...but I cannot recommend for anyone with hardwood floors! It is noisy and once the dog starts chewing on it...it gets sharp edges that scratch the floor. I can't let him take it outside because he digs in my plants to bury it.

Great for bid dogs/big chewers

This has held up nicely. Two weeks in and two Great Danes are still working on it. It splinters a little but so far no concerns. They prefer this bacon flavor over the peanut butter flavored.

28 lb dogs love em

All my dogs like the “Y” shaped Benebones in all flavors, so I bought them the variety box. The Benebone boxed set, contains other shapes and flavors and this stick shaped, bacon flavored bone, is a favorite of both my spaniels, so I had to buy a single one, so they each could have this style and flavor. Four paws up, from all the pups!

Great for Chewers

My dog chews through most bones in a couple of hours (maximum) but this bone has already lasted us about 2 weeks and he has barely made a dent! He loves it and chews on it for hours at a time. Will definitley purchase again!
