what are the chances of the color of the toy bleeding onto light carpet, when played with on the floor?

It is highly unlikely that the Maplestick’s color would rub off on a carpet. This product contains nylon and real maple wood, and nothing else.
If my dog chews a piece off and swallows it is it OK?

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it's always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervise your pet when using, since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged.
