Break and feed pieces as a treat, reward, training, or snack.
I first found these in Canada on a visit with a friend. My Black Lab loved these liver treats and at just 14 kcals, you can break them up into much smaller pieces to be less than 2 kcals. These are super training treats! I have a training program and all the dogs reacted the same, total focus to get a piece.
Good for training. Dogs love them. Need to be cut into small pieces
I love Benny Bullys beef liver and have sold it at a couple different pet stores I’ve worked at, so I’m familiar with the brand. Well I’ll still use them, but I can’t recommend them. Let me explain. These were always easy to recommend as the company ground up and pressed the liver into thinner, vaguely oblong wafers that were so easy to break apart for training, and they didn’t crumble. They were a dog trainer staple back home. I bought that expecting the same here. Nope. Doesn’t even come close to matching the image on the front of the bag. This is pure cubed beef liver. It has NOT been ground up and formed into the wafer shapes we all know and love. This is not a knock at Chewy, and I’ll keep and use the bag because it is beef liver and the dogs love it, but I cannot use it as training treats. This is way too hard to cut up. Maybe with a saw blade or an extremely sharp knife lol.
I give 30-lb diabetic dog 1 treat (broken up into pieces) as special dessert after her meal and insulin shot.
My dog loves them but they are a little rich. Don't give too many, or you might end up with an upset stomach.
Maximus and all his friends loved these! Wish there was more for the price.
I am giving my dog tinctures for her cancer and these work beautifully for that purpose. They are large enough for all the drops and they soak right in. My Lena happily gobbles them up!
