We usually buy these in smaller packages in the grocery store and they're always soft and chewy when they're fresh. We ordered a large bag from Chewy.com because,we'll,

The bag we received are hard and crispy, like duck chips, not jersey. Hopefully this is a one-off and, if not, then we're back to the grocery store.
