My dog had an accident on the bed. It soaked through the cover to the pillow inside. When I washed the outside cover the straps fell off. The inside is not washable and melted. For this price, I would expect a washable dog bed that would last at least a year.

This is our 2nd one. In my opinion, they only last two years before they start looking really bad and smelling. It doesn’t unzip well and wash well. But we still buy one every two years and love it.

I had high hopes for this XL bed, as my 57 lb. dog loves a big, round bed. However, she hates this bed. The bolster all of the way around is very firm, with a tiny depressed area in the center. The bolster sides will not “squish” down, and my dog was trying to lie down in the center but the area was too small so she tried to prop up on the bolster sides but gave up. I sat on the bed myself, and the center sank flat on the floor so felt very hard. I decided I would add some filling to the center. I thought I would never get the zipper undone as the bed “fur” kept catching. To my shock, when I got it open, there was a massive bolster “snake” doubled up in a “channel” made from rope ties with big knots, and the center cushioning was only a small, flat 12 x 12 inch throw pillow! No wonder my dog could not lie on the bottom of the bed! She cannot fit on a 12 x 12 pillow! Also, I looked on the manufacturer’s web site, and every larger dog pictured is sitting in the middle of the bed, I guess because they are unable to lie down. The cover itself is very cheap, shedding fake fur, and the inside has loose white fibers sticking out everywhere. Definitely a huge waste of money.
