Purchased size S for my 9.5 lb Chi mix with joint issues. This review is after approx 5 months of use with one wash. This bed does not provide any support in the middle area due to it being very thin. I have it sitting on top of a 2” memory foam so that he can have support. Additionally, the side bolster has started to lose its shape and requires regular re-fluffing. My dog’s back length is 12” and he fits perfectly. My dog does like this bed (his second favorite) and it is a decent bed for the price but definitely does not provide enough support to be an orthopedic bed.

The Best Friends by Sheri Herringbone Orthopedic Donut Dog Bed has become an instant favorite of Franklin's. Per the instructions, I popped it in the dryer for 5 minutes right after I unwrapped it (although, I must say, Franklin was already dying to get in it prior to that!). I could BARELY get it onto the floor before he was diving in. The raised bolsters (a.k.a. chin rests, which are a non-negotiable for pugs) are the perfect ratio of squishable, yet firm enough to not completely deflate. I also love that it's made from 100% recycled materials and is entirely machine washable.

Well, it’s a bit small, even though the picture makes it look like he has tons of room. Besides that my dog seem to really like it and it’s incredibly soft, just wish it was as big as the picture describes.

cute and cozy donut bed loved by everyone in the house ! super cozy and snuggly whether being used by one pup or all three piled in at once. bolster creates a cozy "nest" for added comfort and security. more of a "plush" bed than orthopedic but great quality, able to fit in a washing machine as needed and seems like it will hold up nicely over time even with "digging" while the pups find the perfect spot to settle in. they love it !
