I purchased this item because of the high quality ingredients and the high rating. Both my kittens sniffed the food, madly scratched in an attempt to bury it, and walked away. Neither cat would touch the stuff. I’ll donate this to my local shelter.
Great Consistency
My senior, picky cat loves this food! She typically likes a food that is very gravy like inconsistency and this one is perfect.

Couldn’t be happier
My very fussy cat with IBD needs to be on medication that I am told is very bitter and he is a tough cat to handle. I found this food and he can’t get enough of it - and his meds are hidden in it ! A lifesaver - we were at the end of our rope. My other cat loves it too. I am happy to know it’s high protein and low carbs which is extremely important for the cat on medication. Thanks Chewy!

It looks horrible and my cat does not like it at all. Looks cheap and unsavory and stinks.
Great for picky eaters
I have some finicky cats so it's always hard to find a food they can all agree on. When one of my cats was diagnosed with urinary crystals, our vet recommended this brand (after he refused to eat the prescription diet). He has been crystal free since and all the other cats love it too. I particularly like that these are now coming in cans for better recyclability. High praise.
Picky Kitty
My kitty is kind of picky when it comes to wet food. She'll tolerate most but she really loves Weruva and the pouches are more convenient for me.
yucky stuff
One cat will lick the broth, but neither will eat it. It looks and smells so bad, I dry heaved a few times trying to get it out of the pouch. It has great reviews, so mine may just be picky eaters.
Finally a Weruva variety both our senior cats love!
Having struggled to find wet food both our senior cats will eat, while also being low in phosphorus has been a challenge, but thankfully I've found a winner with this variety of Weruva. I wish it was a bit higher in calories, but I use it to supplement their other wet food to be sure they are eating enough. I also like the fact the pouches are recyclable. Lots of gravy / moisture in this one, I admit our other two adult cats (4 and 9) aren't fans, but I wanted it mostly for our 16 and 18 year old seniors. So for them, I recommend this product.
No idea why, but they both love this food.
I can barely get it out of the packet the way the kitten crowds me at mealtimes. She practically grabs the packet out of my hand. I guess that’s what I get for allowing her up on the kitchen counters but I don’t care, I love them and this is their house too. I’m still trying out all the different flavor varieties but so far they’ve enthusiastically eaten every one I’ve tried so far. 10/10 I say! Oh, and for all you snowflakes complaining that you can’t empty all the contents from the packet. OMG! Stop being lazy!! I use a simple long-handled teaspoon and it’s very simple and quick. Like the title says, I have no idea why they love this food, it smells gross! lol
