BilJac canned food, sensitive solutions is a meal our dogs look forward to! With hearty, meaty chunks in gravy, it’s apparently tasty as well. There’s never any leftovers, even hesitant eaters seem to really enjoy this food - and the can comes with a nice plastic lid to seal, in case you need to split the can and save for later, in the case for smaller dogs. I was a little worried that the pumpkin might cause stomach upset or gas, but after a few days of feeding, still haven’t noticed any upsets - I think this is a great addition to feeding dry food, to give the dogs a healthy, extra flavorful dish.

My dog, Louie, is a senior - 15 yrs. old, mixed breed lab. He can have inconsistent poops now that he is an old guy. He eats a variety of senior foods, both wet and dry. He also gets a prebiotic product. I wanted to try this food, since digestive and immune support would be a good fit for my boy. He enjoyed it very much, but he is not a picky eater. I thought it smelled very good - like chicken casserole! I like that I can see pieces of pumpkin; this is a "stew" type food. The first two ingredients are turkey broth and water; nothing wrong with that, but I would prefer to see a meat listed first or second. The next ingredients are turkey, chicken, egg product and pumpkin, so that is great. I can't say that I saw any difference in his poops, but he is only getting it for his lunch. I like that he enjoys it, it is easy on his tummy, and for an older dog, the water content helps with hydration. Lastly, it comes with its own cap, so you can store a partial can in the fridge. How convenient!

Pleasantly surprised with Bil-Jac Sensitive Solutions Turkey and Pumpkin wet food. I’ve been using it as a topper for my Lola, who has digestive issues and is on a limited ingredient kibble. Her stomach handles it beautifully—no upset, no discomfort, just a happy pup who is thoroughly enjoying some new taste sensations! I’m very picky about what Lola eats and I really appreciate the quality ingredients and the fact that it’s gentle enough for dogs with sensitivities.

My mom’s rescue pit, Marley, was eager to get to the food before a single can was ever opened! The food itself, even by human standards, smelled enticing, not like the usual off-putting wet-food. The bits of meat and veggies mixed was also more visually appealing as well, looking like “real food”. Once a can was finally opened for Marley, she completely devoured it. She would look so disappointed when she realized she wasn’t going to get it with every meal. Marley, a dog that came from some horrible circumstances, was made very happy with this as a fantastic treat as she continues to recover and her beautiful personality shines through.

I have some picky dogs. I usually have a hard time finding something that all of them will eat. But this food is the answer! All three of my dogs appear to love the food, and I love that the can comes with a pull tag to open and a cover on each can. So helpful, especially when traveling and forgetting a lid or not having access to a can opener.

I had high hopes for this product. It smelled really good and my dog was very interested in it and I gave him about 1/2 the recommended amount for his weight on top of 1/2 a portion of his dry food. He ate it right up! The next morning he started to have diarrhea which lasted all day. Not great for a product that’s supposed to be for digestive support. I then made some rice and mixed it with that and froze it in his pupsicle mold, thinking that a smaller amount might be better, but he had the runs after that too.

Decent can food, lot of plastic waste

As far as canned foods go, this is solid. My hound loved it, but he's not picky. It's a stew style so it's a little thin for using in a Kong, but it's got chunks

As far as canned foods go, this is solid. My hound loved it, but he's not picky. It's a stew style so it's a little thin for using in a Kong, but it's got chunks of turkey in it. My one complaint is the plastic lid every can comes with. While it's nice to reclose the container, I have reusable can lids already. It seems like a lot of plastic waste. One lid for the case would be better, since you can reuse it and rarely have more than one can open at a time
