I purchased this for the lovely, noisy woodpecker that hammers on my gutters until I refill his special feeder. Twice I poured out a stringy fungus type growth (think The Last of Us) that was in the bag. I’m not sure if the fruit pieces encouraged it? I gave 3 stars because there were quite a few nuts. But the fungus was gross and I won’t order again.

The product is very clean and the price is phenominal. I love that I can continue to feed 'my' beautiful backyard visitors. Cost is important to me as I'm on a fixed income. But I also want quality & not just filler food. I only use waste-free products, so there is no mess left on the ground & the birds get beneficial feed, but these are more expensive.
