Top Flight Food for the Birds

By GrandmaBirdy on Jul 10, 2021

The little birds in the yard certainly love this mix. And what they can’t eat in the peanuts, fall to the ground and helps feed some of the larger birds and squirrels. The only problem is they eat too much.

    50% millett

By Misleading on Jun 16, 2021

Wow a "no waste" shelled 10 pound bag of seed I thought sounded like a bargain until I recieved it and saw that half of it was millett making this seed mix not shell free. Bigger birds scratch out the millet so no bargain. I will not be buying anymore of this misleading product.

    Summer birds love this food

By Queenfanne on Jun 16, 2021

Sparrows, finches and mourning doves visit us every summer, No Waste Wild Bird Food is a hit with them! I have tried other brands of bird food and was forever sweeping up disgarded shell, thankfully, true to its name, there is NO waste with this brand.

Great choice for my bird feeders

By Debi on Jul 3, 2021

Great choice for some of my feeders. Birds like it and it's no-waste so there's no black sunflower seed shells all over the ground. If any seed falls to the ground there are birds who eat it too.

    The birds like this one

By lovescatsandbirds on May 15, 2021

I just tried this for the first time and the birds have been quite pleased with it. I'm seeing more house finches since I started feeding this. I feed house finches, sparrows, juncos, doves, and scrub jays. They've been eating up all of this and seem happy with it, so I'll keep buying it to mix with some sunflower hearts and chips and nyjer seed.

    This is a great mix

By piper on Apr 21, 2021

All my local birds love this! Feeding regular sunflower seeds was getting really messy, so I decided to give this a try. I have a larger variety of birds visiting now and there's something for everyone! The little guys and cardinals love the shelled sunflower and my woodpeckers love the peanuts. Some of them do pick out the millet/canary seed, but the ground crew (mourning doves, sparrows, and wild turkeys) happily clean that up, so there really is no mess :)

    Bird favorite

By JoyB on May 23, 2021

This bird seed had definitely made a difference! I have to fill the feeder less because the lack of shells means there is more edible food in the feeder. The birds love it and I have been seeing species that have never visited my feeder in the past. This is a great mix!

    Not what I thought

By Bresh on Jun 3, 2021

I read the ingredients to show the sunflower meats being the first, i.e. the highest portion of all the ingredients to the lowest. It should say 90% millet and then the rest. I haven't bothered opening the bag and need to return it.

My backyard birds didnt like this one

By Tapa on May 8, 2021

I thought the birds loved it because the feeders were emptied out so quickly. Then when i went to refill, it was all over the ground. They picked through it and spilled most of it out. (the usual suspects out back are: sparrows, robins, finches, robins, cardinals and bluejays, sometimes chickadees, wrens, titmice, black eyed juncos)

    peanutsetal

By nutsseeds on Jul 5, 2021

There is no waste like you get with the millet filled cheap seed mixtures but the large amount of peanuts will attract squirrels which some don’t want.
