This is good food

But it's too expensive. Other freeze dried raw companies can sell their products in pound-sized portions. Why can't Bixbi, Stella & Chewy's, and some others? Bixbi;

Salmon without the overwhelming smell

The nuggets are smaller which I like. It doesn't have a gross smell. And, my dogs ate it very willingly. I like the high protein content for the price as well.

Our pups love this! We use it as a food topper and mix like 6-10 pieces in their kibble and it lasts a long time. We loved that it was very easy to crumble. With the latest bag, the texture is much denser and doesn’t really break up as easy. I’m not entirely certain what changed bc they didn’t mention it anywhere in their product, so maybe it’s just normal variation in the animal product. New pieces on the left in the photo with less color and a bit smaller/denser, older pieces on the right and more brown/fluffier. Either way, I think this is the best value freeze dried raw food (cost per oz is lowest we could find for great quality) and we will continue to use it as a food topper, and it’s also great as a treat, rehydrated and frozen in kongs, and in treat puzzles. Or rehydrated on a lick mat! Very versatile and well worth the money.
