I have a senior Appaloosa, 31 years old. We live in Louisiana, so we only blanket when the temperatures are lower than freezing. He is stalled but able to get to his pasture at will. His blanket takes a beating and gets really dirty. This blanket wash does a great job of cleaning the blanket and it doesn't damage the weather proofing.
